This course is for designers who have a basic working knowledge of Illustrator, and wish to learn a combination of simple and complex techniques to create repeat patterns using Illustrator. You will learn how to create patterns using block, brick, drop and sateen repeats. The course is run at the FTM in a brand-new purpose built learning centre equipped with the latest software and facilities, and tuition is in small groups with a focus on your particular learning requirements. Session 2 Creating drop and brick repeat patterns Using symbols to enable you to accurately view and design your repeat designs Transforming your repeat pattern design i.e scaling, rotating etc. |
