Bespoke Services

The Fashion and Textile Museum is pleased to offer bespoke services for your group visit. These services are a great way to personalise your visit, and get the most out of the displays and Museum expertise. If you have any particular requests, please contact the Museum directly and we will be delighted to discuss this with you.

Couture Inside-Out

£500 for up to 20 persons
Led by Museum Curator Dennis Nothdruft, this workshop provides a fantastic opportunity to view the ins and outs of couture design. Participants will have the opportunity to examine garments in detail, allowing detailed study of fabrics and construction of garments from Dior, Chanel and Balenciaga, which are part of the Museum’s permanent collection. This includes entry to the current exhibition.

Fashion Illustration

£120 for up to 20 persons
This popular drawing workshop is led by a member of the Museum’s Fashion team. Taking inspiration from the current exhibition, students will create their own illustrations. This workshop will also improve their illustration and design skills. This workshop lasts one hour and is suitable for ages 8–18 years.

Fashion Collection

£120 for up to 20 persons
This workshop is suitable to students aged 9–18, and can be adapted to suit the following age groups: 9-12 years, 13-15 years and 16-18 years. Please specify the age of your students when making a request for this workshop. Students will work with a fashion professional to design their own colourful collection of outfits. By working on day and evening pieces, young designers will develop their fashion creativity and understanding of how designers work in the industry.

Exhibition Highlights Tour

£60 for up to 20 persons
Enjoy a guided tour of the current exhibition with a member of the Museum team. These tours are an excellent way to learn more about the pieces on display as well as the thinking behind the exhibition design and history of the Museum.
