Friday 27 January 2017 / 3.30pm–5.15pm
Be the first to see JOSEF FRANK Patterns–Furniture–Painting with afternoon tea and Swedish cinnamon buns on Friday 27 January.
As loyal Fashion and Textile Museum supporters, we want to welcome you with this exclusive opportunity to indulge your passion, or ignite your interest, in the work of designer Josef Frank for the Svenskt Tenn company.
To mark the special occasion we have arranged for the exhibition curators to be at the Museum to give you a private presentation of the iconic designs and artworks, and to answer any of your questions. Enjoy exclusive access to the exhibition before it opens to the public, plus a chance to discuss the installation of textiles, furniture and paintings on display in the UK for the first time.
Having developed the exhibition with Millesgarden, Svenskt Tenn, The Swedish Institute and the Swedish Embassy London over many months, we are proud to show the Museum’s work in promoting textile history and heritage in this celebration of Swedish design. With this in mind, this exclusive event is an opportunity to explore the exhibition with the Curators on site until 5pm on the day.
Join us from 3.30pm on Friday 27 January for the unveiling of the exhibition and let us welcome you to the Museum with celebratory refreshments.
