FTM and Clothes Show London search for Young Accessory Designer of the Year - 14 January 2010
The second successive Clothes Show London returns with the announcement of the inaugural Young Accessory Designer of the Year, supporting emerging design talent across the UK.
The prestigious new award in partnership with the FTM, challenges designers to create an accessory product that encompasses the FTM's brand values and is suitable for sale in the FTM's shop (Shop@FTM) and the FTM's online boutique.
The winner will also receive the once-in-a-lifetime chance to receive six months business support with industry advisors to help set up and develop their business and make it sustainable. Their winning design will be displayed at Clothes Show London and may go on to be launched and sold in Shop@FTM. more

The FTM remains opening throughout much of the festive period, subject to the following revised opening hours:
Closed: 24th - 28th December and New Year's Day.

Courses@FTM - A new season of fantastic short courses for fashion designers - 7 December 2009
The museum has announced its 2010 schedule of IT courses for fashion designers.
All courses take place at the FTM near London Bridge in our recently refurbished Learning Suite, fully equipped with PCs running up-to-date software. Most courses come in a choice of timings, with availability on Saturdays, weekday evenings, and newly for 2010, as 3-day mid week intensive courses - so you should be able to find a time that suits. more
