Heidi Mottram
Heidi started her career working with many major international designers including Vivienne Westwood and Matthew Williamson. As a specialist in eel skin Heidi has discovered new ways to work with and manipulate the skins, including pleating, ruching, pin tucking and folding to create new textures and shapes. Compared to everyday cow hide, eel skin is amazingly durable, being 150% stronger than cow hide of the same thickness, making it a long lasting material for everyday use. It is feather light and becomes softer and suppler with use and is also a by-product meaning that the eels were not killed for their skin.

GRIM BRITAIN
'We’re fed up! Fed up with nicey-nice cards of fluffy doe-eyed animals, cute cuddly teddy bears prancing about and flowers so bright they induce an ophthalmoplegic migraine. Instead welcome to our world, our cards aren't nice, certainly aren't pretty and defiantly won’t remind you of Auntie Mavis winning first prize for her three-tiered Victoria sponge. Welcome to Grim Britain'
Puppet Jewellery
Violetta M.Sz is the sole creator of each and every piece of Puppet jewellery. The total concept for each project - the design, the materials used and even the method of making are all her own ideas and result in completely unique pieces. Every item is one of a kind as it is handmade by her using techniques that she has evolved. Surely such beautiful and elegant pieces are not merely commercial but rather little works of art. Please see the whole collection at www.puppet.com.pl
Suicide Blonde
A Gothic Tale of Utilitarian Leather Accessories
In the current Social climate, where longevity and selective consumption are key, Suicide Blonde is set to establish itself as a quintessential leather accessories brand.
The great quality leathers- selected with care-, the handmade English manufacture in small to medium quantities, the seasonless designs and, last but not least, the continuous drive to source sustainable and carbon neutral materials, are all intrinsic to the strong company ethos.
The use of Gothic themes and very early cinematographic imagery, encountered throughout the various collections, create a unique otherworldly atmosphere where time and life are suspended.
Antithetic themes, oscillating between dream and nightmare, the sacred and the profane, are developed by means of digital printing of the leather. This technique, not yet mainstream, has the potential to prove itself as the more evolved alternative to screen printing. The process-in a way similar to skin tattooing- produces hardwearing and long lasting results and translates admirably into aesthetic leather accessories.
Mostly inspired from Victorian trinkets and antique finds, the 925 Hallmarked silver zip pullers have been cast by a “Queen Appointed” silversmith in London, before being oxidised in Suicide Blonde’s East End Studio.
These beautifully made pieces, stylish yet informal, are to be coveted then appreciated with the longevity of a true classic but with a more refined and decadent darker edge.
Time to indulge in luxurious irreverence!
Tatty Devine
Tatty Devine is Rosie Wolfenden and Harriet Vine. Having first met on the Fine Art Degree course at Chelsea School of Art, they went on to establish the company in 1999, and still run it completely independently. Tatty Devine has become a cult classic of British fashion with its witty, offbeat designs.
From small beginnings at Portobello and Spitalfields markets, Harvey Nichols and Browns began to stock Tatty Devine, and Vogue shot their first collection on Erin O'Connor and John Galliano for the Millennium issue.
They design every piece and 99% of the jewellery is made by hand in Tatty Devine's own workshops (one in London and one in Kent). Each year, two main collections are launched at London Fashion Week.
Perspex silhouettes are Tatty Devine's signature style, but you'll also find pieces created in textiles, wood, leather, veneer and enamel. They are continually developing new techniques to produce unique and exciting designs. To see more of their designs go to www.tattydevine.com
BULO&
Behind Bulo hides Mélanie Buatois, a young French designer passionate of objects, who, for her own pleasure and yours, has started to create custom jewellery. In addition to a degree in product design, she studied in many workshops including sculpture, fashion, fine arts and puppet-making. It is in this way she got to familiarize herself with different know-how and techniques and open herself to the diverse disciplines which form her work of today.
Bulo likes to search and to give new identities to her little findings. Her aim is to be able to revalue these objects and materials and make them come alive again by making them wearable. They become no longer toys, plastic and ageing, but jewels, precious and lovable. She likes to work on colours, textures and patterns, which she mixes on her own way, personal, joyful, sensitive and dynamic.
All Jewels from these collections are made by hand by Bulo. Each piece is unique and numbered. For more information go to www.buloand.com

Product Description
Through a series of candid photographs taken over the last 7 years and covering all the different elements that make up the catwalk shows - Backstage, Front Row, Catwalk and Street Style - the more casual viewer will get an insight into the chaotic world that makes up the apparently glamorous fashion shows! Unlike many shots from the shows published in women's fashion magazines the book will have a much more documentary style feel to it. Quotes from different people from the industry will be mixed in and printed next to the images. For example make up artists, hair stylists, models, editors, designers and finally Bloggers who are the newest kids on the block bringing the book right up to the present day in the way fashion is being reported on with the birth of the internet. Firmly in tune with the current vibe and with a definite London edginess this book will be a sensational design statement.
