With bases in Bermondsey Street’s Fashion & Textile Museum and Soho’s 01Zero-one studios, Creative Hub offers advice and support responding to the needs of small to medium creative businesses in fashion, jewellery, textiles, accessories, soft furnishings, homeware, digital and visual media.
Supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), and led by Newham College and Westminster Kingsway, Creative Hub works to assist London’s creative businesses in a fully-subsidised support programme.
A new map and trail celebrating the history of London’s fashion industry. Since Roman times, Bermondsey Street was home to the leather trade, as well as associated activities such as woolstapling, hat manufacture and glue production. Local streets that trace this history include Tanner, Morocco and Leathermarket Streets. But the map also highlights how the area provides a base for contemporary fashion and jewellery designers including Andrew Logan, Pussy Willow, Susie Stone and Zandra Rhodes. more
