Exhibition Highlights Tour
Enjoy a guided tour of the current exhibition with a member of the Museum team. These tours are an excellent way to learn more about the pieces on display as well as the thinking behind the exhibition design and history of the Museum. Exhibition entry not included.

Pricing: £80 for up to 20 persons
Taking inspiration from the Museum’s exhibition, students will work with experienced fashion and textile designer Suki Bourne to design their own colourful collection. In the 2-hour workshop participants will create mood boards from a selection of images and use croquis to illustrate their final collection. Young designers will have the opportunity to develop their fashion creativity and understanding of how designers work in the industry.
Age range: this workshop is suitable for students aged 8 – 18, please indicate your preference at point of booking.
Pricing: £300 for up to 20 persons
In this 2 hour drawing class learn and explore the basics of fashion drawing using simple but effective techniques on croquis to enable you to produce your ideas onto paper. Drawing skills are a must for any fashion designer wishing to express their ideas and an essential tool in the design process. In the world of computers drawing by hand is still advocated by top fashion designers as a starting point for any collection.
Age range: This workshop is suitable for ages 8 – 18, please indicate your preference at point of booking.

Couture Inside Out
Join the Museum’s exhibitions team for this rare opportunity to view the ins and outs of couture construction. Take an up-close and intimate look at selected garments from the Fashion and Textile Museum Collection archive and discuss some of the many fascinating stories behind the clothes. Participants will also have the opportunity to examine the internal structure and sewing techniques of garments from Couture houses including Chanel, Dior and Balenciaga.
Age range: This workshop is suitable for ages 18+
Pricing: £600 for up to 15 persons
Add Refreshments to your Group Visit
Pricing: £60 for up to 10 persons | £100 for up to 20 persons
Enjoy a cup of tea, coffee and biscuits as part of your visit to the current exhibition. Relax in the Workroom for up to an hour and take the opportunity to chat about your thoughts on the show. Refreshments will be set up for your arrival in a self-service style. Advanced booking is essential and subject to availability. Exhibition entry not included.
It is necessary to book for these services to ensure that we can prepare sufficiently, and are able to offer you the best possible experience. Bespoke services must be paid for at least 1 month in advance of your visit.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Group Visits may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to the date of your visit. Bookings are non-refundable after this time. If you wish to cancel your Group Visit, you must let us know in writing.
