The first step in organising your Group Visit is to get in touch and let us know:
– The name, email address and contact phone number of your group visit’s organiser
– The date and time your group would like to visit
– The size of your group
Once this is done, a team member will be in touch via email to discuss your booking.
Opening Times and Admissions for Group Visits
The Fashion and Textile Museum is open Tuesday – Saturday, 11am – 6pm. We welcome groups to book throughout day, with last entry at 5:15pm.
Admission costs are as follows:
Students: £9.50 | Student admission applies to full or part-time UK students holding a current institutional student card or NUS card, and to international students with either an EU student card or an International Student Identity Card (ISIC). This ticket also covers 12–18-year-olds in education.
Adults: £11.50 *
Concessions: £10.50 | Concession rates include over 60s and anyone currently out of work and receiving benefits. Please be aware you may be asked to provide proof of the above, such as a travel card or similar. Concession rates are also available to anyone with a disability.
Under 12s: free | Availability permitting, valid for children aged 0-11 years old
Carers: free | accompanying anyone with a disability
*For school and college groups, 1 complimentary adult ticket is available to the group leader.
Due to the nature of our space, we welcome groups of up to 20 at a time. Groups larger than 20 are permitted, but will be split into smaller groups and asked to enter at staggered 30-minute intervals, availability permitting.
In place of a permanent collection, the Fashion and Textile Museum hosts is a diverse programme of temporary exhibitions, displaying a broad range of innovative fashion and textiles from designers and makers around the world. Discover what’s on.
Personalise Your Group Visit
In order to take full advantage of the materials and expertise held by the Fashion and Textile Museum, you may wish to consider adding our bespoke services to your group visit. These services include guided Highlights Tours, Fashion Drawing workshops and Couture Inside Out talks. Find further information and prices for our bespoke services, here. Please note that it is necessary to book and pay for bespoke services in advance, in order to ensure that we can prepare sufficiently, and are able to offer you the best possible experience.
Payment for Group Visits
Please note that to secure your visit, payment must be made at least 1 month in advance of your intended date. Your visit time and date are not reserved until payment is made.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Group Visits may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to the date of your visit. Bookings are non-refundable after this time. If you wish to cancel your Group Visit, you must let us know in writing.
