Join the creative force behind Designers Guild, Tricia Guild OBE, alongside the curatorial team from the Fashion and Textile Museum to hear the behind the scenes story of the exhibition Out of the Blue: Fifty years of Designers Guild.

Founded by Tricia Guild OBE, Designers Guild started life in 1970 as a small section of a single shop in Chelsea’s Kings Road. The brand has since evolved and grown into a global enterprise, whose products have changed the way we view colour, pattern and texture in our homes.

Hear about the creative processes in producing the exhibition alongside the challenges and inspirations behind the design and installation. Discover how the teams worked together to choose what to display from the Designers Guild’s extensive archive.

Chair:
Dennis Nothdruft, Head of Exhibitions, Fashion and Textile Museum
