Saturday 29 - Sunday 30 July / 11.15am–4:15pm
Led by master weaver Caron Penney this vibrant and lively 2-day tapestry weaving workshop will develop an enquiry into colour theory and implement this learning via weaving. Participants will work with primary, secondary and tertiary colours and will be encouraged to use blending to achieve subtle transparent effects, seeing one colour appear through another. The group will work on pre-warped frames provided by the tutor. By the end of the workshop participants will take home a completed tapestry. Aimed at adults, this workshop is suitable for beginners to intermediate levels.

Beginner - Intermediate Level class
This class is suitable for people with some basic weaving experience to more experienced weavers. All the materials for the class are included. Tapestry frames are available to purchase from the tutor.
Price: £160 includes equipment* and exhibition entry.
* The fee includes the tapestry yarn and equipment used during the workshop. Should participants wish to acquire a tapestry frame to continue their work at home these will be available for sale on the final day.
