This course explores the creative process and ways to design fashion and apparel using Photoshop, allowing you to present your ideas from inspiration to final concept in a digital format. Download course information and outline
- Apply artistic effects to scanned illustrations or fashion photographs
- Fill sketches or photographs with fabrics, textures and stylised effects
- Create color variations and realistic details, shadows and highlights to presentations
For beginners or those that have a basic knowledge of Photoshop, this course is suitable for people working in the fashion sector, students, tutors or anyone interested in improving their computer design skills and learning techniques in Photoshop. Participants are required to have basic computer skills. Please bring a pen, notebook and USB stick to save your work.

FTM Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our 15-hour short courses are a great value way to learn essential design softwares. Courses take place in the FTM’s IT suite, equipped with the latest facilities and software (Adobe CS6). Taught by our team of highly experienced tutors, tuition is in small groups with a focus on your particular learning requirements. The Fashion and Textile Museum is part of Newham College London.
