This 3-day intermediate course teaches you how Adobe Photoshop can be used to create decorative repeat patterns, covering a range of simple and complex techniques.
The course covers the following main topics:
- Create all-over repeats, half-drop or mirrored repeat patterns
- Accurately positioning motifs and design elements for repeat patterns
- Reduce colours of a repeat pattern suitable for screen printing
- Creating design variations and colourways
This course is taught on PCs and is for beginners or for those that have a basic knowledge of Photoshop. The content is suitable for people working in the textiles sector, students, tutors or anyone interested in improving their computer design skills and learning techniques in Photoshop.
Participants are required to have basic computer skills. Please bring a pen, notebook and USB stick to save your work.
