The Fashion and Textile Museum is Temporarily Closed

Nothing is more important to us than the health and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers, visitors and wider community. As such, having taken into consideration growing concerns regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the Fashion and Textile Museum is now closed until further notice.

All pre-booked exhibition tickets will be honoured on any date throughout the remainder of Out of the Blue: Fifty Years of Designers Guild, which has been extended until 13 September 2020.

All talks, events, workshops and computer courses taking place before 30 May will be rescheduled – we will be in touch with ticket holders directly and will be reviewing this regularly.

We are creating new ways for you to explore our exhibitions and learning resources online and look forward to sharing these with you very soon. In the meantime, please stay up to date via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and our newsletter.

Our staff will continue to work remotely. Please send any inquiries to
