Courses@FTM - A new season of fantastic short courses for fashion designers - 7 December 2009

The museum has announced its 2010 schedule of IT courses for fashion designers.

All courses take place at the FTM near London Bridge in our recently refurbished Learning Suite, fully equipped with PCs running up-to-date software. Most courses come in a choice of timings, with availability on Saturdays, weekday evenings, and newly for 2010, as 3-day mid week intensive courses - so you should be able to find a time that suits. more

Late night shopping and 10% discount at Shop@FTM - 4th December - 17 November 2009

Join FTM and some of our Bermondsey Street neighbours for an evening of stylish Christmas shopping, including a complimentary glass of wine and a special 10% discount.

With its independent boutiques, destination shops and gastro dining, Bermondsey Street is one of London's hidden treasures. Friday 4th December 2009 is Christmas Shopping Night and a chance to explore Bermondsey Village's many delights – with the added bonus of 10% discounts in the shops, all open late.

The Fashion and Textile Museum's Shop@FTM is a great place to find unique and unusual jewellery and accessories by some of the best young design talent London has to offer. You may also be interested in our range of exclusive merchandise, including hats, scarves and vases, by the iconic 60s designers Marion Foale and Sally Tuffin, who are the subject of our current exhibition.

Our exhibition Foale and Tuffin: Made in England will also be open on the evening - join us for a free glass of wine and a late night browse of some vibrant and inspiring 60s fashion. more

Foale and Tuffin - the launch - 27 October 2009

With the spirit of the swinging 60s in the air, Foale and Tuffin - Made in England  was officially opened by Sir Paul Smith last Thursday.
