Foale and Tuffin Competition - Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions together with any specific rules set out in competition terms and conditions (as defined below) are the competition rules and apply to the Foale and Tuffin competition. By entering a Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.

The competition is organised by the Fashion and Textile Museum, 83 Bermondsey Street, London SE1 8XF.

The Competition is open to members of the public except employees of the Fashion and Textile Museum and Newham College and their immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected to the promotion. 

Entries must be received by 6.00pm 29th October 2009, UK time. The winner of the competition will be notified via email on 30th October 2009. 

The Fashion and Textile Museum reserves the right to cancel or amend the nature of the competition, the competition terms and conditions or these rules at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted under the terms and conditions section.

The Fashion and Textile Museum reserves the right to make the final decision on the winner. Should there be any matters relating to the competition, the decision of The Fashion and Textile Museum shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

By entering the Competition, you confirm  that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. The Fashion and Textile Museum assumes that by entering the competition either you have legal capacity to enter the competition and agree to the rules (i.e. that you are of sufficient age and mental capacity and are entitled to be legally bound in contract) or your parents have consented to your entry of the competition and use of these rules. Any entrant aged under 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Entrants aged between 16 and 18 will need to provide written permission from a parent or guardian

The Fashion and Textile Museum reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions.

There is no purchase requirement to enter this competition. 

The claim for the prize is subject to availability and must be claimed before 24th February 2010. 

The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Fashion and Textile Museum reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at any time.

Intellectual Property Rights
Any information submitted by you must be personal to and related specifically to you. You hereby warrant that the information which you submit and/ or distribute will not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or any other rights of any third party, and will not contain anything which is libellous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening. If relevant, The Fashion and Textile Museum reserves the right, but not the obligation, to screen, filter and/ or monitor information provided by you and to edit, refuse to distribute or remove the same. 

The Fashion and Textile Museum cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting the prize.

Data Protection and Publicity
The winner may be requested to take part in promotional activity and The Fashion and Textile Museum reserves the right to use the names and addresses of the winner, their photographs and audio and/ or visual recordings of them in any publicity.

Any personal data relating to entrants will be use solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s prior consent.
