First-ever exhibition on THEA PORTER is announced

In Spring 2015, the Fashion and Textile Museum is staging the first-ever exhibition on the work of British designer Thea Porter (1927–2000). The exhibition THEA PORTER 70s Bohemian Chic (opens 6 February 2015) explores how Porter established her combination of fashion and interior design, cultivating clients such as Pink Floyd and the Beatles, alongside Faye Dunaway, Elizabeth Taylor and Barbara Streisand. In a new partnership with V&A Publishing, the exhibition is accompanied by a new book written by guest curator Laura McLaws Helms and exhibition adviser Venetia Porter. Download Press Release
