Learn top tips on how to draw iconic looks from fashion history using a variety of media.
The Fashion and Textile Museum’s popular Draw Like a Designer workshop returns with a twist. Working with the KNITWEAR Chanel to Westwood exhibition (19 Sept-18 Jan 2015), young designers will be inspired by vintage designs to create their own illustrations using a variety of media. Step by step, learn how to draw all kinds of vintage clothes. Then mix up influences and details to create your own exciting looks and collections.
The workshop coincides with a book signing and the launch of the new book by the Fashion and Textile Museum ‘How to Draw Vintage Fashion’ with the authors Celia Joicey and Dennis Nothdruft.
For ages 12–16
