Pattern Cutting Introduction | 2-day Saturday workshop

Saturdays, 19 and 26 October | 10:45am – 4:30pm

Led by creative pattern maker Michelle Lewis participants will cover the basic rules of flat pattern cutting. The 2-day course focuses on using fashion blocks to create womenswear garment components including simple sleeves and skirts. This process will include bodice dart manipulations, style lines and how to add fullness through gathers and pleats.

Creating Colour Palettes with Sarah Campbell

Experimental Heat Press: Sublimation Printing & Flock

Saturday 25 January 2020 | 10:30am–4:30pm

This one day workshop provides the opportunity to experimenting with sublimation printing using liquid disperse dyes and paper dyes. Printers will begin by using liquid Disperse dyes, which are applied to paper through screen printing, block printing or hand painting onto paper, then transferred onto fabric using a heat press.
